Designed and manufactured by ROSBACK, these fully automatic
saddle binders collate, stitch, 3-knife trim and deliver professionally finished books at
production speeds. These modular systems were engineered for operator ease of
make-ready, operation, and change-over. If you print multiple signature impositions,
fold sheets into sigs (4, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, pages), and your runs range from 500 to
32,000 books per day -- you will substantially build your profits with the ROSBACK LYNX SaddleBinders.
LYNX SaddleBinder
The new LYNX 4-pocket Vertical Feeder handles
individual signatures or pre-inserted signatures. The stations hold approximately
9" of stock and can be loaded on-the-run. Vacuum suckers and air blast, open
the signatures and assist the carrier bar to insure smooth and accurate feeding. The
LYNX 4-pocket feeder is easily positioned over the front or rear
of the saddle plate. For 8-pocket feeding, simply add second 724 LYNX
Feeder. The new LYNX Feeder will fit on all 203C
Stitchers.
Two to four stitching heads (Bostitch, Hohner, or ISP) can be used. The
optional StitchTech
measures any book missing a signature or stitch. Signatures are then deflected
into the stitcher delivery table without stopping, instead of being delivered to the
trimmer. Less time, errors and scrap stock equal profits.
ROSBACK'S single book, shear action trimming
is the most accurate and virtually eliminates nicking covers or splitting spines.
Double clamping (each knife as its own built-in clamp) assures a square 3-edge
trim. Several trimmer models are available, and generally provide alternate
minimum finished book dimensions.
