About Emus

Emus are called Ratites, which means "Flightless Birds."  They originate in Australia and have been there since prehistoric times.

Emus are 5-6ft tall and can run about 35-40 miles an hour.  They weigh about 120 lbs.  They produce lean red meat, 97% fat free.
